• A designated unit on the 8th floor that includes specialized equipment to comfortably accommodate patients.
• Staff that undergo continuous education to remain up-to-date on the latest weight-loss treatments and patient needs. All staff that work with bariatric surgery patients undergo sensitivity training to support patients' medical and emotional changes.
• Specially trained dietitians to support patients before and after surgery.
• A Bariatric Team that meets every other month to discuss planning, outcomes, quality improvement and patient care to constantly review and improve our program.
