After all the training and discipline, Patty has accomplished one of her life-long dreams; running the Bolder Boulder race! She ran alongside her son and says it was one of the coolest things she’s ever done in her life. "The crowd was just incredible at the end. It was the greatest feeling in the world to cross that finish-line," says Patty. She is also well on her way to losing over 100 pounds and couldn’t be more thankful to all the people who have supported her along this journey. "I just want to say thank you to Swedish Medical Center and Dr. Tillquist for helping me achieve this goal. My whole life has changed!"

Wow, Patty is down over 10 dress sizes!!! She’s only days away from running the Bolder Boulder race and is so excited. She says she can't believe how much weight she has lost and says the process has been so easy for her. "I really recommend the robotic lap-band surgery. It's been unbelievable to see the weight just come off," says Patty. Recently Patty rode on the back of a Harley motorcycle and says it was the most amazing experience!

It's been three months since Patty's successful surgery and she's not only lost 51 pounds but is now running 13 miles at a time! She is currently training for the Bolder Boulder in May and will be running the race with her son. One of the biggest hurdles she's overcome is not depending on food to comfort her during tough times. Instead, she maps out a trail and hits the pavement running!
Way to go Patty!
