Specialty/Research Interests: Full-spectrum Family Medicine, especially underserved care, Women’s Health and family planning, Addiction Medicine & Pediatrics.

Tidbit about yourself: I grew up in beautiful Western Massachusetts, and have since lived in New York, Bolivia, Minnesota, and Maryland. I love being outdoors and hiking, camping, running (very slowly), and finding other people’s dogs to play with. I am so excited to call Colorado home, and realize that I will have to learn to ski very soon.

Wade Davis, MD

Education: ETSU Quillen College of Medicine

Specialty/Research Interests: Full-Spectrum Family Medicine including procedures, Wilderness Medicine, Rural Medicine, and Behavioral Health.

Tidbit about yourself: I am a Tennessee native who is very excited to explore the vast landscapes of Colorado. My interests include hiking, skiing, long distance backpacking, mountain biking, fishing and romping around outside with my crazy wolf dog Tallulah. I love traveling off the beaten path, trying new foods, and visiting breweries with my girlfriend who is a behavioral health consultant at Swedish! I love watching Tennessee football, Gonzaga basketball, and am excited to cheer for the Broncos.

Stephen Macari, MD

Tidbit about yourself: I love the outdoors: boating, skiing, hiking, snowboarding, you name it. I am also a big fan of craft brews, soccer, and traveling, with some of my favorite places being Kyoto and Rio de Janeiro.

George Olsen, MD

Tidbit about yourself: I enjoy running and hiking around Colorado, skiing and hitting up a hot tub afterwards, cheering on the Denver Broncos, traveling the globe, and spending quality time with my friends and family.

Poorvi Pfenning, MD

Tidbit about yourself: I was born in India, raised in Georgia, and am so excited to be in Colorado for residency. I enjoy spending time with my husband doing pretty much anything outdoors, trying out new, healthy recipes, and spending time with family and friends.

Garrett Urban, MD

Tidbit about yourself: I am a native through and through having done all of my schooling in this great state. In my free time, I love spending time with my wife and getting into the great outdoors. Wood work, leather craft, camping, hiking, biking, fishing, hunting, water skiing, and snowboarding are just a few of the hobbies I have picked up over the years and hope to continue throughout residency. I am excited to continue my training in Colorado and provide care for the people of my home state.

Tidbit about yourself: I have lived in a number of states, including CA, OR, WA and CO. I am happy to be returning back to CO. I love the outdoor beauty of CO. I enjoy exercising, running, biking, swimming, hiking 14ers and spending time with my family.

Danielle Eves, MD

Tidbit about yourself: I grew up in Colorado, and I enjoy spending my free time outdoors with my boyfriend. My other interests include cheering for the Colorado Buffaloes, eating sushi, trying new food trucks, and traveling.

Andrea ‘Annie’ Habel, MD

Trey Van Maanen, MD

Tidbit about yourself: I was born and raised in a small town in NW Iowa. I am excited to be in Denver to explore the mountains and the city with my wife, Andrea, and our french bulldog, Rueger. In my free time I like to camp, golf, play board games, and practice guitar.

Casey Whipple, MD

Specialty/Research Interests: I’m from California, and I love the Mountains. I grew up roaming the Coast Ranges and the Sierra Nevada, and spent medical school enjoying the Appalachians. I’m a military reservist, and I plan to spend most of my career providing care to the people who live in America’s rural places. I spend most of my free time enjoying the outdoors with my awesome wife, Sharell, and our adorable dog, Penny.

Tidbit about yourself: I'm a world nomad, have lived in several countries and love to travel more; it is on my bucket list to visit all the countries along the Silk Road one day. I have a 2.5–year–old Daughter, Darya, who brings out the child in me and keeps me going. I like to incorporate complementary and integrative medicine in my practice and am fascinated by the strong effect of cultural aspects of medicine in the health outcomes of patients. I am trying to learn more and be conscientious about social justice in health care am passionate about creating a more inclusive culture in medical practice.

Tidbit about yourself: I was born in Taiwan but raised in Texas. After attending undergrad at the University of Houston I have since lived in Missouri, Florida, and now Colorado. I'm so excited to begin this new adventure in Denver and am looking forward to the beautiful hikes, meeting new people, and of course finally learning how to ski! Outside of medicine I enjoy trying new foods and restaurants, traveling, binging podcast series, hiking, kayaking, music, and spending time with friends and family.

Tidbit about yourself: I have lived in Indiana my entire life, and although I am a proud Hoosier, I am very much looking forward to moving out of my comfort zone and relocating to the beautiful state of Colorado! In my free time I enjoy running, hiking, practicing yoga, reading non-fiction, cheering on Hoosier basketball or Chicago Bears football and trying new breweries.

Tidbit about yourself: I grew up in Philadelphia but went to college and medical school in California. My husband and I love being outdoors and exploring new things. We are excited to teach our daughter how to rock climb and show her the joys of hiking and camping in the mountains.
