Qualifying for Bariatric Surgery
Several factors must be taken into account to determine if bariatric surgery is right for you.
Body Mass Index (BMI)
Your BMI score is a starting point for you and your doctor. Generally speaking, patients with a BMI of 35 or higher are good candidates for weight-loss surgery.
Weight-loss surgery is much more than just an operation. It takes a personal commitment and understanding that this is a process and can take some time. Nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle modifications are all part of the weight-loss journey and can only be achieved through persistence. We are here to help and make this as seamless as possible.
