The Swedish Head and Neck Cancer Care Center treats both common and rare and cancers, including:

A collaborative team that provides expert care
Your treatment program may include care from various members of our interdisciplinary team of experts including head and neck surgery, medical and radiation oncology, dentistry, oral surgery, reconstructive surgery, nutrition therapy, social work, and speech, voice, and swallowing therapy. These team members have years of technical training and experience in treating the most complex head and neck cancers. Each week, our team meets at our interdisciplinary case conference to collaborate and develop the most effective treatment plan for each patient.
Our medical director, Andrew Nemechek, MD, FACS, is a board-certified surgeon who specializes in treating otolaryngological tumors and cancers. Dr. Nemechek was one of the first physicians in the state of Colorado to perform advanced head and neck oncologic surgeries. As a principal investigator and key contributor to clinical research throughout his career, Dr. Nemechek is at the forefront of clinical care, and offers patients the most advanced treatment options.
