We established our Swedish Family Medicine outpatient clinic in Littleton to provide medical expertise from several types of primary care physicians. Conveniently located near your home and work, our team is highly trained and experienced to keep you and your family healthy.
Types of primary care physicians
Primary care physicians evaluate your health and give you medical advice. In many cases, you see your primary care provider the most and he or she will refer you to specialists as needed. The more time you spend with a primary care doctor, the deeper the rapport. This relationships allows your physician to make better evaluations and assessments regarding your health.
Family medicine specialists provide general medical care for both adults and children.
Geriatric medicine/senior health specialists provide general medical care for adults ages 65 and older.
Internal medicine specialists/internists only treat adults ages 18 and older.
Midwives care for women in all stages of pregnancy; all midwives at Swedish are certified nurse midwives or registered nurses educated in midwifery.
